Realistic but not a feel-good movie for this time of year.

I found this film captivating and suspenseful. Michelle Williams was stunning.

It is a great thriller, from which one can see a different directing style of Scott Ridley. Though a little bit stereotypical of the rich-miser narrative, one can also see the light of human nature as exemplied by the kidnaper. Through the portrayal of the unrelelenting effort of a mum, Ripley presents a the eventual triumph of love over money and cruelty.

Love that movie !
