Very well done, from the acting, to the sound, to the use of captioning to create empathy. I thought the story and the journey of the main character was realistic, and I appreciated the portrayal of Deaf culture. I loved the ambiguity of the ending.

Beautifully made with seamless progression of the sounds and evolvement of the character and storyline over time . Unique and vey moving story up to the very end .

It was not what I expected at all, but the previews did help me to understand it wasn't going to be all heavy metal noise! \rIt was a well developed screenplay, acting was excellent. I loved the character growth of Ruben, and eventually we find that Lou has grown & matured too. As a person with 50% hearing loss in both ears, I can appreciate that Ruben learned that being deaf wasn't a handicap, after all !\rI was really confused by all the noise when I got my hearing aids, and still prefer the quiet world when I remove them. The ending was perfect ! \rthank you for this film.\r
