I think I was spoiled from the one with Rex Harrison. This version was slow and not too many effects.

Hilarious great action with the animals

The kids enjoyed it and it's worth the watch, but the CGI was not the best. The resolution needed a whole lot of improvement.

Could have been a lot better. Unnecessary remake.
