Funny, romantic not overly emotional

This movie is a great love story. Not bad for a girly movie.

Where has Scott Eastwood been? So handsome! Perfect as the romantic lead in a Nicholas Sparks film. This one's better than "The Notebook". So enjoyed it, was easy to overlook the contrivances, tinted look of Alan Alda's character's love story as a somber young man, and unbelievable that a vibrant girl would fall for him.
