enjoyed it but confusing at times

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Although i felt a lot of the movie was spent explaining the magic rather than showing us the magic. Compared to the first movie, the plot twists weren't as surprising or shocking. The jokes and funny moments were really well done which made the movie an enjoyable experience even though a tad predictable.The raindrops trick done by Atlas was by far the best "trick".

It was pretty good

NYSM2 is another whirlwind movie, where you hang onto your hat for a wild ride of misdirections and reveals. Whether or not you saw NYSM, the sequel almost works as a stand-alone, - enough backstory is slipped in via flashbacks. Kudos to ALL of the actors in this ensemble, BUT, if we can stand 2 Harrelsons, why couldn't we also have Fisher back along with Kaplan, vying for the 4th slot? Just sayin
