The movie was a is a funny movie not a horror movie. It was funny but more so geared to geared towards teenagers. I would not rate this an R rated movie

It's kind of corny. The characters are not fleshed out enough. It gets boring and drags at times.

The movie came off as a comedy... I thought it would be scarier. As a comedy, it still failed because there were not enough jokes. The CGI was laughable. Not the worst movie I've ever watched, but I'm not sure that I'm glad I viewed it.

3.5 Stars. Fun movie, might read the book now to see if there is more to the story. Good movie for a night in with friends.
