Unusual story, pretty realistic take on the deaf community, sign language, and the general disdain for cochlear implants. The movie un/intentionally shows the hypocrisy of this operation that leaves you stranded between the two worlds.

I Loved it ... I was invested in the characters all the way through. And I really appreciate that they incorporated nuances of deaf culture like being given your name sign by others in the community, and the controversy around cochlear implants.
