I definitely recommend seeing this movie in IMAX/3D to get the full intense experience. This movie tells a great story and really takes you in, while balancing the gritty moments with lighter moments as well.

Everest held my interest from beginning to end. You could hear a pin drop during the entire movie. Because it depicted real life, the scenes were done exceptionally well. If you are looking for comedy or sci-fi, this is not the movie to see.

This movie offers a glimpse of the preparation to ascend Everest, the pain of the final climb and the mismatch of human frailty and the worst nature can deliver. Many of the scenes are difficult to forget.

IMAX 3D really made the movie great. The faraway shots where you still got so much small detail with the perspective of how big are the mountains.
