Mildly entertaining absurdist black comedy and social satire with an ultraviolent streak and underlying contempt for victims of trauma/violence. I do love social satire but to be enjoyable it either must highly entertaining (which this was not) or deeply meaningful (which this was not). I’m not sure what this film is trying to say, except maybe that we are all fucked in the head and destroying each other. As if I needed a reminder? Also, I think Emma Stone is overrated as an actor.
