I'm a Wes Anderson fan and was really looking forward to this movie. I was a little disappointed but maybe my expectations were too high. Not as good as Fantastic Mr. Fox but it had its moments. As always, the cinematography and directing was sublime. But I guess the story was just a little weak for me. And the music was just not memorable at all.

a little strange?

Typical whimsical Wes Anderson movie. Amusing, not revelatory. Great stop-motion animation and some good voicework.

I'm sorry I was not particularly happy with the movie, because I thought the story was not strong but they attempted to make it amusing. Thank you for the invite.
