I thought it was super emotional and though it strayed from the book at times, it was still really well done. Very interesting to see how they adapted certain parts.

The movie was excellent, the buddy dynamic was infectious and brought me to tears, its a wonderful crowd pleaser that has great laughs, great characters, a great story, and amazing visuals. The rating should be a 9/10, I personally just thought the first act was definitely weaker than the 2nd and 3rd act, and it took a little bit to get fully started.

It combines the rigorous depth of hard science fiction with the struggles and brilliance of human nature.
