A slick, stylish action packed sequel building on the foundation laid by the original.

While I preferred the first movie overall, I still enjoyed this one. I liked how they expanded on the universe that the first movie created, Keanu Reeves still kicked ass and made the movie work as a whole, Laurence Fishburne was clearly having a blast in this, the action sequences were well choreographed and well filmed, and the rest of the supporting cast was good.

Loved the first movie and the new installment didn't disappoint. Great action sequences with original and very welcome over the top hand to hand combat. The storytelling was compelling without trying to do too much and I have a lot of hope for yet another sequel!
