I remember reading this book in the 3rd grade. I can honestly say that this movie took me back to 8 year old me and I could not stop laughing. I took my boyfriend and he enjoyed it. He said it was informative from a boy's prospective. I really enjoyed the stroll down memory lane!

The movie was absolutely interesting and entertaining we enjoyed it.

This was a beautiful film version of a beloved book. Spot-on & beautifully detailed sense of time and place -- 1970 NYC and the Jersey suburbs -- and what it was like to be a preteen then (and to some extent, now). I read the book when I was very young, & had fears about a film adaptation, but they were unfounded. Rachel McAdams was oustanding. Look for the Judy Blume cameo!
