It was a pretty cool short movie. It got straight to the point on what the character wanted to accomplish while adding a little background context of the main character Boogie.

I liked the rawness and the realness of the film. Its a "coming of age" story that incorporate culture and leaves the audience contemplating the balance some struggle with between responsibility to family and pursuit of one's own happiness. Great film.

I enjoyed this movie because its a different cultural coming of age movie that isn't often seen.

This film will have high appeal right now as this nation continues to tackle several of the themes in the film—-identity, purpose, allegiance and more. The cast consisted of a quality ensemble of actors and the soundtrack complemented the scenes. Any criticisms that I have are purely technical—-lighting, pacing, a few plot holes or scenes that ended up cut due to editing, and long shots that would have brought more intimacy/intensity to the scene had they closed in. I found it to be a thoughtful work and think that it was indeed an appropriate coming of age film for 2021. Well done.
