great storyline

The Mauritanian was a fantastic movie. I am so shocked and horrified at what was authorized by our government. This man who was falsely accused and denied his basic human rights proved that he is a better man than any of those who were responsible for his arrest and detainment. My heart hurts over all that he lost and still is losing being separated from his wife and child. This world needs to change. We need to learn empathy and compassion for all people. We are all the same inside. This film has the power to make people think and to bring to light the injustices that occurred in the name of freedom. We cannot protect our freedom by denying it to others.
