A roller coaster ride of emotions with a delightful ending.

Strong movie, solid cast, soundtrack, cinematography, composition. So much heart, humor, love and sadness. A great story of triumph over trauma, family, loving relationships, truth and transformation. Frank's relationship with alcohol and Wali's responses to it were painful and realistic. Their love was palpable through the turmoil and trauma of the storyline. Loved the way Beth's character was developed and how so much of who she became was a result of her relationship with Frank. I loved the loveliness of Wali's character. I want my own Wali!

This was a very moving story about family dynamics and other things. Great performances. Wonderful cast. This did not disappoint.

I think the movie was a well written and acted believable story of the early 1970's.
