Wonderful film. Very understated and touching, it builds the relationships of the cast with a lot a warmth. It has great little moments between the actors, and the entire cast is fantastic.

Great plot. A little confusion on the timing going back and forth, but not too hard to catch on. Good, engaging plot for a period piece.

The film was a refreshing and well-executed take on the novel of Little Women. The story is familiar but Gerwig added a new twist that made the film relevant to audiences today. She also added quirkiness to the characters that made them fully developed and relateable. While the film could have easily been revolved primarily around the journey of Meg as was the case in the 1994 film version, the film took a unique turn into exploring the complexity of the relationships of each of the characters.
