Underwater is a movie that had potential but fell short. The movie begins with action which continues throughout the film. However, the action and tense anticipation contributed to a lack of development of the characters roles and personalities. The story line focused on escaping the devastation that occurred and did not interweave the relationships. The movie lacked substance.

Nothing original here. Just a typical monster/disaster movie. I also found many of the action sequences difficult to follow. Not sure if it was because I was seated too close to the screen. Overall, I did not really enjoy the movie and don't recommend it.

I typically don't write reviews because I think they're pointless, however this film takes the cake. I wouldn't recommend this movie if they paid you to watch it. It was shot horribly, the sound is very aggressive and seems it would be better with a 3D movie. The plot was all over the place and in the end the 2 main characters died.
