Movie was ok. The disclaimer at the end should have been posted at the beginning of the film. I went into it thinking all accounts shown were documented at true.

Detroit was a very graphic film wth intense subject matter throughout. Much of the movie could've been shown differently and still be effective to tell the story the creators wanted to.Also there was a lot of talking in the theater and people were on their phones.

Great movie with a nice insight on an important issue. would not recommend going to the movie theatre to watch this movie. I left with a such a sad attitude, I just went home afterwards.

A very tense film that provides an intimate point of view of the 1967 riots in Detroit. Integrates some historical footage that adds a dimension of verisimilitude to an already compelling drama. Well-paced and suspenseful that presents a satisfying overview of a critical event in U.S. history.
