Jupiter Ascending suffers from being highly derivative of the Wachowskis prior work. The result ends up visually stunning but an otherwise unremarkable mess. We watch virtually the same rescue sequence twice, the female lead is nothing but a damsel in distress, and any significant ideology is forgotten as quickly as it’s introduced. Somehow the Wachowskis have lost their groove.

This movie was terrible. It took a cool concept and ruined it. Not even Channing Tatum could save this. It is an insult to my hometown of Chicago.

a real dumpster fire of a movie.i can see why they held this film back for about a year.should skip the theaters and go straight to red box.

Not Good. Music was bad bad bad. Way over the top. Story was weak and movie seemed to be edited oddly. Scenes that seemed unnecessary were included and slowed the movie down.
