I get it was meant as satire, but Perfidia was so over-the-top while others played it straight, making the mockery feel like punching down. I honestly thought it was MAGA propaganda at first. The film only clicked as satire with the Xmas Adventurers. The middle dragged from wasted setups (nuns with semis, vegetarian gag, but then Willa’s capture was a nothingburger). The ending was also slapdash: did Lockjaw forget about Willa? What happened to Deandra? Even though the plot suffered, it had gorgeous cinematography: the visual and narrative use of the hilly road was truly brilliant.

Was not expecting it to be so of the time, felt like it took place at any point this summer. Regina and Teyana were so impactful but would have loved more of them. Tony Goldwyn had the funniest lines in the film. A fantastic breakout performance by Chase Infiniti.
