The film was a great depiction of what happened in February 1964, in Miami after Muhammed Ali became the Heavyweight Champion of the World.

A good drama with pretty significant historical African Americans. I'm just not sure of this was a true story or not. Either way I looked it though.

Thought provoking juxtaposition of personalities. Great dialogue with significant undertones. Awesome soundtrack.

It was a Great film that i can say i will be watching again. The commentary here is powerful. taking factual evidence and elements and bringing them into a well made and fictional undertaking was great. There is also plenty of humor and great performances given here. While Regina King shows a great director this movie nailed one thing down more then anything and that is Kemp Powers script. Powerful, Raw, and constantly moving. I found the first 15 minutes very simple and predictable but I love how this entire movie went somewhere different then I thought it would. 8.5/10
