The movie, often uneven and imbalananced, is filled with moments of great emotion and drama. The visual appeal is perhaps its greatest asset, while the story line could use a few finishing touches before the release.

Good story, very creative. Great production with outstanding cinematography. The feeling of the era was conveyed well and the drama was compelling.

Strange, but I’m glad I saw it. It reminded me of Big Fish (fantasy set in reality), but the narrative was easier to follow. The film was visually appealing, however I felt it difficult to find the monster likable, which made it difficult to buy into the romance. I think audiences will be polarized, either recommending it because of its eccentricity, or just not getting it. Acting was solid.
