It was good, but parts of the movie could have been better explained

A well paced, well directed movie. Details are just perfect, the actors do justice to their roles, and overall it is an excellent watch.

The cinematography was amazing. The story was similar to the original version, but with a very updated approach. It seemed to drag on at times, heavy in dialog. However, the action more than made up for it! I would recommend this movie to friends and family.

Ben-Hur was both good and bad. First the good: Very exciting chariot race scene that was better than the first. While I did have questions about costumes (denim jeans in 33AD???), the story line followed in this abridged version that of the original. And while 3D was certainly an unnecessary expense (I would have enjoyed it better in 2D, as modern 3D tends to give me a headache), I give it a solid
