Nostalgic with a few laughs. Predictable with some cheesy fights but overall the fatalities and the story were enjoyable,

It was an okay movie. The final act kind of killed the momentum built by the rest of the movie. While the fights were entertaining, I think the character development was neglected. The movie acted like it cared about the series hero (Liu Kang) a lot more, then killed him off without enough emotion behind it.

MORTAL KOMBAT II has the perfect blend of action, drama and humor, the fight scenes are excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.
