It did take me a bit to get into the characters. The more we traveled with them we really got to know them. It was a good movie. Pulled at your heart strings. Made us cry a little and laugh a little. How it ended was one of those YES moments that just make you feel good.

I found the movie to be sad but uplifting. I thought that it was well done and spoofed the stereotypes of Americans much as we stereotype Mexicans. I watched it while comparing it to several other movies I have seen in the past where 2 "dudes" take a road trip together but end up alright in the end only this one did not deal with potheads. I actually guessed the ending, that Eloise was a plane just like the one he had as a child. I liked the actors and the lines were funny and clever. I once lived in Mexico City for several years as a college student and this brought back great memories.
