Loaded with nostalgia and cameos galore, Coming2America is more or less the sequel that we had hoped for. Is it the groundbreaking comedy that it's predecessor was / is? That's a hard no. But there's a certain level of familiarity within the plot-points and characters that makes this film... comfortable. Imagine seeing an old friend after 30 years and finally getting caught up on everything in their life (except that friend happens to be the sole heir to the throne of Zamunda). Good for some laughs, a tear or two, and finally knowing how the follow-up bar Peaches' rap went 3.5 out of 5.
