With this fifth installment of the Terminator franchise, the opportunities for breaking new ground, or surprising viewers, are becoming more and more limited. Still, there are some inventive twists and the pacing is excellent. Make sure to stay for the last scene after the credits.

A visual experience but with a thin storyline. Great to relive some of the themes and sayings from the original movies.

Kept my interest, but left me a little disappointed. Still wanted John O'Connor to be the Protagonist. Thought the liquid terminator had already been played out.

It was what it needed to be but nothing mind blowing or revolutionary. Passing grade but not much more as it felt like a cash grab while they still own the rights. 7/10
