The movie has comedy, suspense, and keeps you guessing what's about to happen next. This reminded me of the "Clue" film, how it took turns telling the story from a different view point/character. I had a feel questions that went unanswered leaving the theater. They slightly talked about the film strip, but never recognize or fully mentions the person that was filmed. Overall good movie!

Bad Time at the El Royale is a calculated ride in which the viewer slowly learns more as each layer is unveiled. The movie takes you along at a purposeful if uneven pace and delve into the sometimes extraordinary lives of the various people who met here. While the ending does not totally pay off, it still presents some of the most tense scenes and best acting in the entire movie.
