Classic Del Toro - beautifully filmed, loves the oddballs and the weirdos, and great cast.

I thought it was good. Nothing I've ever seen before. Very strange love story, but in a good way.

Adult Fairytale (Beauty & The Beast). Fun suspenseful.

Del Toro tells an incredible but enchanting love story between a beautiful soul and a powerful but misplaced being. The setting is complete with Cold War overtones of paranoia and authentic looking sets. Everyone gets what they deserve in the end and the narrator assured that it has a happily-ever-after ending.
