The film blended human experiences of family life with the atrocities inflicated on Armenians during World War I. Despite the hardships and horrors endured, there were touches of humor in some scenes.

Excellent movie! Great acting and a little known story from WWI. Long, but definitely not boring.

Great history story, enjoyed the movie action and drama

Brought awareness to the Armenian horrors they faced during the War as they fled their country & how devastating war truly is & how people pull together in darkest of times & never give up on hope - great heartfelt message - made me appreciate the country we live in & realize how precious life is! It had an emotional impact on me & my daughter she cried during the film & brought us closer.
