Loved it!

Weapons reminded me of Barbarian—a movie with a mysterious, spooky setup but a final chapter that was less scary because it had to tie up the plot with action, violence, and gore. While the narration seemed unnecessary and there were some plot holes, Weapons was still very enjoyable thanks to strong performances by Brolin, Garner, Madigan, and Ehrenreich, a non-linear and chaptered storyline with small cliffhangers, the fresh premise, some stunning cinematography, fun gore, and fair jump scares.

WEAPONS brings a new perspective and idea to the realm of occult practices, mysticism, and the phenomenon of necromancy.

It was pretty tense. A bit predictable but definitely enjoyable.
