It was weird, it had the opportunity to go creepy and scary but instead went the way of ridiculous and lackled credibility

It was suspenseful, but very disturbing.

I'm a bit surprised this movie is a Focus Features product. Simply put, these characters are beyond highly predictable and lack any semblance of intellect. What kind of individual escapes a predator by running into a dark basement? Very strange guys.
