I liked the treatment of the book-- the way the plot is sequenced keeps you entertained and it is faster paced than I expected, which was great.

I was told so much about this film, how it was trashed and boring it was . I decided to watch it and I did not find it boring nor trash. I liked the way it was done in retrospect . You see how the carachyer got to where he was and his struggle. Some scenes were a little harsh but it was the story unfolded. I felt for the characters and what they were going through. In the end I enjoyed the film.

Great story and dramatization of the book.

It reminded of the Thomas Crown Affair. I liked the interaction between the characters. I did feel about 20 minutes could have been shaved without loosing any of the story. I enjoyed it though.
