This is an interesting and quirky approach to illustrating complicated family dynamics and adults coming-of-age. There are some really wonderful performances, especially Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman. But somehow, I guess I expected more from the film and was left a little disappointed -- should have been funnier or more thought-provoking.

Some fine acting but it’s really nothing other than characters feeling sorry for themselves alternating with them screaming at each other.

I didn’t like this movie. There were some decent family elements, funny moments, and heartfelt moments but those were drowned out by the poor character development and superfluous sexual content. Honestly, I can see why this was for Netflix.

Predictable and common storyline. Daughter's films were too weird and didn't fit.
