I think it was stronger than the second one. I liked the fact that the new racer is female and that the other racers didn't act as if that was something special. Very empowering for my 9 year old daughter who has seen both previous iteratios and is a big fan. I will be recommending this movie strongly to fellow parent and grandparents.

Great kids movie and family flick. Awesome sequel.
