Enjoyed the experience, even though it was a bit long. I can see why this has oscar buzz due to the classic hollywood/ old musical nods. Made me smile from ear to ear most of the time but the end was depressing. Fitting title. John Legend should be in more movies.

Not what I expected. Some good moments of acting, but the key actors could moot sing. Also too long!

It was a sweet movie, reminiscent of old-time musicals. I enjoyed it.

the script and chemistry of the actors is the only reason I can get this movie 2 stars. The singing was TERRIBLE and dancing was even worse. I feel like this movie isn't going to do well in the Memphis market. It might do better in new York or LA. I would have enjoyed it better if it were a normal movie. There were very funny moments throughout.
