Kubo is a movie with lots of meaning. It is perfect to teach children the values of respecting their elders and building self-esteem.

Such a beautiful romanticization of traditional Japanese iconography! Even down to the storytelling style, which I loved. Definitely a fan of the film, it was a wonderful journey. Very pretty. A little scary at times, but also super funny! Surprisingly few characters but lots of locations and battles and spectacular animation, truly the best in existence. As a movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing, creative story. The pacing was perfect. The visuals were filled with detail and beautiful art. The characters were filled with personality. It exceeded my expectation.
