I love scary movies but it's hard to really scare me and this movie did the job! I was clutching my daughter's arm the whole time.

Goes back to the camp of the original Raimi films while maintaining a really cool and fresh style. Classic but fresh. It got laughs, shudders, and lots of gasps in the theater. Absolutely a theater film for the experience as well as the laughs. Felt incredible as a long-time Evil Dead fan, from Army of the Dead to Ash vs., and am definitely recommending.

I tought it was a really good horror film. The storyline was interesting and kept me wanting more. The movie felt fresh, not like a spinoff or an "inspired" movie

Probably the scariest film I've seen in the last decade. The gore was superb. But what I truly loved was the artistry - I mean this film referenced so many classic horror films from The Shining to Jaws to Poltergeist. I really loved it. Will be thinking about this one for awhile.
