Fantastic film! Robert Eggers just does not disappoint!

Best movie of the year.

This is the best $90 million a studio has put to use in YEARS. It's the first movie of the year I think I will be actively campaigning for, general audiences will find thrills and a sweeping action epic the likes of which we haven't seen since Gladiator. \rI can easily see this becoming an Oscar frontrunner in several categories, and will be telling everyone I know to see it. Thank you for allowing this film to be made.

A visceral look into Norse mythology that feels so grounded. From the opening scenes to final frame, Robert Eggers delivers a visual masterpiece. \r\rThe Northman is a historically accurate version of this culture that I’ve never seen before on the big screen. Having Anya and Willem back for another Eggers film was great. Haven’t seen a great epic story like The Northman since Ridley Scott’s Gladiator. Would recommend to anyone that loves historic epics.
