It was good. I enjoyed it.

It portrayed a very deep longing between two people with subtilty and humanity. A joy to watch.

Story well told. Enjoyed the way it was filmed with costumes, cars and scenery.both Cate and Rooney's acting was great.

It was a bit slow at first as the story took to long to develop, although it could be said that they were trying to portray how slowly it took those kinds of relationships to develop in the past when people had to be cautious. But once it got steamy, the drama really took off. Both the tension and the passion were palpable and the roles were played well. Very believable and seductive.
