Excellent performance by Cynthia! I grew up listening to Aretha Franklin but never knew her story. It's very interesting to see where she came from and how she rose to become the Aretha we loved all these years.

Riveting and entertaining. Pure story of a beloved talent.

For some reason I was pulled into the show. Be it the music, the acting or the strength of the characters. I can wait to see the rest of the series. I think they hit the nail in the head on this one.
