It is a pivotal and eye opening film

OMG! What a powerful, relevant, complicated, portrait of Black American OurStory. I was so looking forward to this movie, and it exceeded my expectations. Fine acting and filmmaking. Highly recommended.

I think it was an informative and powerful movie. I really enjoyed the cast and the retelling of this important moment in history.

The movie was deeply engaging. The dialogue was moving and moving , poetic and very thought provoking. At times, I became angry, sad, amused and enlightened.
