The movie was splendid!! Although it got just a teensy weensy confusing with the constant time change, the movie was heartfelt and genuine. The characters played their roles well and the plot was carried out smoothly. The only critique I can give is the instant love between heroine and her love interest at the end.

Excellent, modern adaptation, probably best I've ever watched. I'm not a fan of the book; I didn't expect much. I was very pleasantly surprised. Great cinematography; Laura Dern & Timothée Chalamet are excellent. The bouncing back and forth between eras was hard to follow at first

I loved this rendition of Little Women! I was skeptical at first, but I thought it was really well done. I don’t understand the reasoning for the couple readings with just the shot of the actor - that felt extremely out of place and awkward, but wondering if there’s a reason behind it. Loved the costumes and sets! There was one part of the movie where I didn’t feel the music was right for the scene but overall loved it !!!

This story is near and dear to my heart (my dad would read the book to my sister and I when we were little, and I’m named for one of the characters), and I walked out of the film feeling so happy! The acting was amazing, and the way the director handled the timeline brought a breath of fresh air to this classic. I have already recommended it to a number of friends, and made plans to see it two more times. This will definitely become a part of my movie collection!
