At times excruciating to watch, simply because it’s so relatable.

This was an honest and touching film about the struggle of being a teenager. It was so sincere and heartfelt and my brother and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I think that it takes great talent to turn the “mundane” into an entertaining film that truly does bring on the feels! Elsie did an amazing job and it was hard not to tear up a little watching her journey.

It was funny, heartwarming, and relatable. An authentic look at growing up. Absolutely loved it!

13 year old daughter laughed and cried. She said it was bang on. At times the topics were tough. Grade 8 is so much harder than I can remember! Add to raging hormones, jockeying for popularity and acceptance, the film tackled digital addiction, onslaught of media messages and sexual consent. A great starting point to have these challenging discussions with our kids.
