Wow. Total actions. Exciting and fun,

It definitely kept you on your toes, not knowing who exactly you should be cheering for until the end but the flow of the movie was great. It portrayed a possible future that technology is very much capable of evolving into which left you thinking about it even after it was over.

Visually, it was stunning. I liked the themes punctuating the movie, particularly what it means to be human and one's identity.

The movie was a success in the sense that it was visually beautiful. The makers tried to keep true to the original material, e.g. the manga, TV series, specially the original movie. However, laser sharp focus on Major's struggle to find her true ghost limits the movie's scope to the larger struggle that humanity faces in terms of individuality as the line becomes blur between man and machines.
