I liked it. It kept pretty well to the original plot. The actors were great in it. It moved a little slowly but so did the book. My sister came with me. She hadn't read the book but became very involved in the story. She talked about it all the way home. Overall a good movie.

I read the novel upon which the film was based and thought that Donahue did a remarkable job of adapting the work. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay are extraordinary.

It was a very touching movie and really enjoyed it!
