Didn’t get to watch it and wasted my commute

It was funny, time space continuum needs more development!

This film is about a teenager accidentally conjuring up her older self played by Aubrey Plaza. A quarter way through the movie Aubrey Plaza abandons the teenager. By extension she abandons the audience who now have to suffer an hour of watching a teenager who is as uninteresting as she is annoying, as boring as she is derivative. Eventually when Plaza does come back, we're relieved not because she's back but because we know the movie is about to get over.

I left without finishing this movie. I was under the impression that it was a comedy, and it seemed like propaganda in the way that the previously gay character fell in love with a boy. Also, the boy’s character was flat and it seemed like he might die in the end. The movie went from rom-com to sapfest in a shockingly quick time
