The film missed the opportunity to develop relationships with characters in the minds of viewers, which leads to a lack of emotional connection to the film. Who are these people? Why were they digging in the first place? You can piece this together while watching, but I'd be more invested in their survival if I knew more about the characters before they were facing death.

visuals are awesome but it lack any tension the actors and the monsters

Underwater I give a 2 stars the entire movie was dark and you never could clearly see what the sea creatures look like and there was no explanation of what they were, the reason they were digging, etc. the movie gave us nothing.

An underwater version of "Alien" but no where's near as good. After 20 years, this formula seems old....been there, done that.
