Great Summer popcorn movie. Much better than Age of Extinction. Liked the tie-in to previous films, and also the return of previous cast members like Josh Duhamel and John Turturro. Anthony Hopkins was an interesting addition too. This was everything we love about Transformers. Would have liked to see more Dinobots in the final battle.

It was a bit slow at times but overall a good movie.

It's just too much. Too many explosions for the sake of action, too many one-liners (especially where people are about to die just to crack a joke), which really takes the humanity and any hope for meaning away. The story was very choppy and only served to bring more action. It could've been a great, somewhat deep story, and instead it settled for cheap jokes and too much noise. T3 was way better.

Its a fun movie, especially if you enjoy the franchise. It felt a little long, and the plot was convoluted. The movie did have a lot of fun moments, imagery, and throwbacks to the series as well as Generation 1 elements. I would recommend for anyone that is a fan of the series.
